A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

It is a quiet night in Krakow, and the Prince has just been murdered.

You are Mikael, a young Ventrue with no memories of his mortal life. When a power struggle in the wake of the Prince's death leaves the Sheriff and Seneschal unwilling to work together, the investigation of his murder falls to you.

Joining you is Kira, the only childe of the dead Prince Aleksander. Together, you must investigate the scene of the crime, interrogate your suspects, and bring the killer to justice before the loss of its Prince sends Krakow crumbling into chaos.

Aleksander was known as a just and beloved Prince—who could have wanted him dead? And what could have driven them to it?

What a fantastic game! Huge props to each member of the team for their work on this!

I'm obsessed with this game! it's so well done, I really loved it. my favorite part was how you opted to not use the typical camarilla clans, and instead we got to see some others. and my favorite character is shredder I need more of them. I would totally get a game only about them

Why is Oorlag hot

This is excellent! Very polished (spotted only 2 typos), intriguing story, great art! I know very little about Vampire the Masquerade, but this is written in such a way that it doesn't matter. The Glossary was nice for lore, but I actually rarely used it, as this was so easy to follow. Very nicely done!

One possible criticism I had was
SPOILERS

After the killings at the end, there wasn't much emotion. It was basically: well, that's too bad, let's move on. I guess I wouldv'e liked a bit more of Mikael dealing with each death. But it's a minor point. :)
I also wasn't sure why Kira suddenly was prosecutor, but I probably just missed something, lol.

Thank you! We would have like that too, but we only had 30 days to work on this one for a Game Jam, so we had to try to be very concise!

As for Kira, it was mentioned a couple of times that she was having to take orders from Brienne, and that she made that call, still thank you very much! It’s always good to hear thoughts!

Yeah, I thought the time constraints were to blame for not being able to flesh out the ending a bit more. Still, amazing for being done in 30 days!

Ah, ok, I must have missed that about Kira! Thanks for clarifying!

Ok wow, this was fun! Interesting story and characters! Great character art too! Really wouldn't have guessed this was made under the time constraints of a jam. (not that I know anything about creating games)

Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the story and the art!! I've done a bunch of college projects before and I was also surprised we managed to get this much done haha. I went through the game at the end and was like "1-2 hour runtime???? We got that much done???" Very fun discovery lol

Thank you again for playing and commenting! It's so exciting to hear people had fun :') — Megan

Even more than quantity I was taken aback by the overall quality. For the time constraint I would've expected to focus on one thing (idk, just strong characters, or an intricately woven story, or pretty art) and then cut corners elsewhere. (Which is a perfectly fine approach and can absolutely lead to amazing games!) But you did ALL THE THINGS, which sounds like a recipe for disaster. But then you actually managed to nail ALL THE THINGS. Which is super impressive. Guess you had a great team and your previous experience probably helped :)

Ahhh! Thank you! We all worked really hard on it and were excited to have the final version out! Your comments mean the world to us! —the other writer, Liam

AMAZING GAME!! LOVED IT! <3 The story was rich and the characters were well written! AND THE ART IS OUT OF THS WORLD!!

Thank you sir, your $100 is in the mail —Liam

Great game! I loved the pacing, the story,  the characters, the art(especially the art!). I absolutely loved Shredder's design and the second they showed up my immediate thought was, "I don't care if they did it, I'm not accusing them." I also loved the twist at the end but I don't want to talk about that in the comments because spoilers.

Thank you so much!! Shredder has my whole heart, it makes me so happy to hear you loved them too! Thank you for playing our game ! :"))  <3  --Jen

Sequel Idea: It is a quiet night in Krakow, and you

are a horrible goose.

This sounds like a game where you play Shredder?

Heheh I think that sounds perfect! —Liam

Enjoyed every second of this! Political and personal intrigue against the backdrop of vampirism... Lovely and bloody little mystery with lots to unpack. Oorlag was by far my favourite character. The artwork is also wonderful!

STOKED to hear you say that! Oorlag is the only character here directly adapted from an old PC of mine, so it’s really fun to hear that so many people are enjoying my creepy bandage boy —Liam

I love Shredder. nuff said

Incredible! I loved it!
